Edsea Business School (EBS), was established by an Act of Parliament (CAMA) of 1990 as amended, RC 1390746, 2017 and was also accredited by Small and Medium Enterprise Development Agency (SMEDAN) SUIN 23051352, as an entrepreneurial development institute/National business and technical examination board NABTEB CN28442.

To prepare Young Nigeria Residents for entrepreneurship and employment opportunities through the acquisition of skills to be self-employed, to tackle unemployment and enable wealth creation. EBS also focuses on promoting entrepreneurship development by way of improving access to finance and strengthen the institutional capacity of micro, small and medium enterprises. EBS Formulates policies that will support the improvement of small businesses in Nigeria.

In furtherance to our vision, EBS is currently in partnership with SMEDAN to promote entrepreneurship development at the grass level to improve lives of poor and vulnerable communities in Nigeria, this will help foster community based entrepreneurship development through our hundred percent (100%) scholarship scheme declared by the Institute to train one Hundred thousand (100,000) young entrepreneurs, graduate and under graduate students, youth corpers and skilled workers from 2023 to 2025 as part of EBS CSR Post COVID-19 empowerment Scheme which include community based training, promotion of small enterprise development in Nigeria and across West Africa Sub-Region.

THE FOCUS

At various level of entrepreneurship development institute, such as EBS and EEA, has been pioneering entrepreneurship development and conducting localized Entrepreneurship Development Programs (EDPs) for a limited number of people. These (EDPs) have limitation in terms of number which cannot fulfill the need of a number of potential entrepreneurs scattered in the very vast geographical areas of the country. This calls for a novel approach.

OUR COMMITMENT

To address this need of developing new, committed entrepreneurs on a large scale, EDSEA business school has conceptualized and launched an innovative entrepreneurship development program through distance learning and personal counseling class training title “Diploma in Entrepreneurship   and Business Management.

Career Advancement Results

The general objective of the program is New Enterprise Creation and Management. To achieve this objective, the study materials are focused on various aspect of starting and managing enterprise.
